I've just read this book, and what a great ride it was!
It's aimed at 'creative professionals' and while I'm not sure I would put myself in that league, a lot of it certainly rang true for me. I have a LOT of ideas of projects I want to take on, I find it difficult to turn down new projects, and when the going gets tough, I'm often very tempted to trade the turtle-esque tedium of being thorough and persistent for a new and exciting idea!
Scott Belsky lays out a plan for applauding one's own great ideas, and then actually knuckling down and making some of them happen. After a couple of years of feeling overwhelmed by my various projects - yet not wanting to let any of them go - I'm enjoying putting a structure in place to make them happen!
